That is a bond(bandhan) of protecting (raksha).
But from what do we need protection??
We need protection from the evil sights, negative thoughts, cruel people, unexpected accidents and much more!
So by tieing a Rakhi we are protected from this?
No, but we have a hope that we will be protected and hope is what makes us all live our lives.
We never know how bad times and situations will be faced by us!
We are never prepared for the unexpected and sudden incidents
But the strength at that particular time is been provided from the VISHWAS and LOVE, that we have blessing of our loved ones, of our sisters
Always on our wrist
Who would be preventing us to fall into any trap or
Would take us out from the darkest times.
Just like how moon shines due to sun's light
We always have our sisters as the sun's light
And vice verse(cause sisters need the protection from evil strengths
And brothers need the protection from evil spirits)
Rakhi is not merely just a thread.
It's a promise with evidence and hopes💓
