Shallow

Have you ever listened?

To the whispers of the wind

As it drains through your shallow soul

Do you glaze?

Upon the shallow lakes

When they fade from existence

Or when they drip over your hollow body

Have you ever felt?

That cry called by the the rose

Before your shallow love takes its life

Do you wander?

On the forgotten streets

When the night is at its peak

And the real demons sleep

Have u ever seen?

The first spark of sunrise

Taking its first steps on the azure floor
